Challenges, difficulties, and hardships in life are inevitable. We will all experience them. And, whether pursuing a worthy goal, facing an illness, or dealing with an unexpected (or unwanted) event, they may tempt us to quit. I've been there. But, with hope and encouragement, I endured.

And, like most of you, I've known many who faced such experiences. I saw them battle, hang in there, and not quit. And, even in defeat, their courage built character and inspired others.

I was once sitting in a group of individuals facing tough times. My heart ached as I listened to their stories. I sought words of encouragement, conveying a mindset of not giving up, regardless of the risk or the result. But the words weren't coming to mind.
 
Then I read an article about a hockey team playing in a hard-fought game. The writer described their play as "quitless." I immediately knew that I had found my word. Now, I want to share it.
